Bindon Hill

Bindon Hill is located in Dorset, it’s along the Jurassic Coastline between Lulworth Cove and Kimmeridge. At it’s highest point the hill is 168 meters high. It can be reached by a short walk from West Lulworth. The hill contains iron age earthworks and surrounds a coastal area near Lulworth Cove.

A ghostly Roman army is said to march in these areas. Never seen (other than at Chapman’s Pool), their presence is denoted by the stamping of feet in unison. Some believe their appearance signifies a threat to Britain.
